Sailing Boat

Good Morning and a Happy New Year to you all and
I would just like to welcome Natasha Hensel to my blog
I hope that you will get a little inspiration from my card Natasha.

Now that Christmas is over its back to hard work with my
DT's work.

Back to todays card it was made for a lovely little boy.
The image is from Hobby House and the scalloped Square dies are
from Tonic and the fancy square is a XCut die

And the papers that I used are from Rubyred crafts.

You can get the goods that I used from
XCut dies are from

and then the other dies came from

and my papers came from

I have loved working with these images from hobby house
as the colours are so easy to find papers that go well with them.

I first covered my card with a lovely shade of blue paper then I
cut two more strips of different blue papers and matted them on to white
card.
I then added them on to my card front side by side.
then I cut my mat out of the checked paper with the Xcut die.
I then mounted it on to white card.
I used doublesided foam tape to set it at a angle into the
centre of my card.
With the scalloped die I cut a mat out of the spotty paper.
And then with the smaller die in the set I cut out my image.
I used foam tape to add this straight on to the centre of my card.

I then tied a large white bow out of white organza ribbon and
a smaller blue one which I added on top of the white one.

to finish with I added some blue gems to all the corners of my card.

That's all for today and I will be back tomorrow with another card
as im going to try and blog every day this year.

I would be so greatfull if you could leave me your thoughts
on this card.
I do really appreciate your comments.

Take care and many thanks
