Glitter Angel






Good morning friend's follower's and visitor's
How are you all ding this morning.
Today see's the last Christmas card of 2016.

I started of with a 8"x 8" white card I which mat and layered
in Silver Glitter card and white card.
Next I cut a glitter mat at 6.5"x 6.5" and a white mat which
I added to the centre of my card.

Next I cut the Couture festive flourish frame background out of glitter card.
I then added it the to the centre of my card.
I then cut the flourish frame out of white card and I added
it to the centre of my background die cut.

Next I cut the Sweet Dixie Angle out of silver glitter card which
I added to the centre of the frame.

To finish off with I added gems to all corners.
That's it for Christmas cards this year.

Last Sweet Dixie Sample








Good morning all how are you all doing this morning I
hope you are all well.
What are you all up to today I think I'm going to try and
put the Christmas tree up if I feel fit enough.

This is my last Christmas Sample of Sweet Dixie Designs.

I started with a 8"x 8" white card which I covered with a piece of decorative
paper.
I then cut a smaller mat which I mat and layered with silver mirri card.
I cut a smaller piece of white card which I inked with
cosmic shimmer bending inks.
I then embossed it with a sue wilsons embossing folder which I 
sanded back so the white came through.
I added this to the right hand side of my card.
Next I cut the Ornamental Christmas tree in white I then cut it in half
I then added to each side of the front panel.
I then cut the Reindeer from the Reindeer and Sleigh die set.
I added this to the centre of the trees.

Next I added a string of pearls across the bottom of this panel
 and on to the trees. 
I them cut the large Merry Christmas die which I added 
to the top of the panel.

Next I cut a strip of mirri card to fit down the left side on which I
added a white panel.
I then wrapped a piece of blue and white ribbon around it before
I added it to my card with foam pads.

To finish off with I tied a large bow out of blue and
white ribbon I used a hot glue gun to added it to my card.
I then added a large gem to the centre of the bow.

Sweet Dixie Sample Large Snowflake





Good morning all how are you all doing on this cold morning.
I've up hours just couldn't sleep so I thought I would finish
this card off.

For this card I have used the 
Sweet Dixie Large snowflake and the Holly corner's and border die set
and the Merry Christmas die.

I started off with a small DL card in cream and then I cut
a piece of patterned cream paper from my stash which I
cut at a angle.
I added this to the to half of my card. 
Next I cut the border from the holly corners and border die set
out of silver mirri card.
I added this to the edge of my paper. I then added a string of gems
across the edge of my border.

I then cut the large snowflake out of silver mirri card which
I added to the top half of my card.
I then cut the large merry Christmas die which I added to the bottom
half of the card.
I finished of by adding gems to the corner's.

Sweet Dixie Cute Owl Sample









Good morning all how are you all this morning have you opened
your advent calender's as it's the 1st December I just don't
know where the time as gone. And with me being poorly
over the last month I've not done any Christmas shopping
so I think it's about time I got on with it.

For this card I have used the Sweet Dixie Christmas 2016 die sets.
Cute Owl and stocking die and
the Festive floral frame die set and the
Holly corner's and border die set.

I started off with a white 8"x 8" card base that 
I mat and layered with green glitter card. I then cut another
 mat out of snowflake paper from my stash.
I then cut four corner's from the Holly corner's and 
border die set out of green glitter card I added these to all four corner's.

Next I cut the Festive floral frame out of white card. I added it to the centre 
of my card by using foam pads.
Next I cut out the Cute Owl and Stocking in silver mirri card.
I added this to the centre of the frame.

To finish with I added gems and a bow.

Sweet Dixie Christmas Angel Sample






Good morning all how you all doing this Wednesday morning
you will be pleased that I'm nearly finished putting my samples
on here just two more to go and then I think that's the end of 
Christmas ones

For this card I have used the Christmas 2016 Christmas Angel die.
And the 2016 Merry Christmas die.

I started with a black card base that is a little larger that a A5 card.
I then cut a mat out of Gold Glitter card and then a Black one on
which I embossed with a Sue Wilson embossing folder.
I added these to my card base.

Next I cut out my Angel out of gold glitter card which I 
mat and layered it on to gold and black card I then added this to
my card by using foam pads.

Nest I cut out my Sentiment out of gold glitter card.
I then added it under neigh the topper.
To finish with I added some gold gems to the corner's.

Decorative Bell Sweet Dixie Sample






Good morning all friend's follower's and visitor's I hope
you are all well.
It is so nice to be back among you all and thank you for your
well wishes.

For today's card I have used the Sweet Dixie Designs
Decorative Bell and the Festive Floral Border die.

I started with a 8"x 8" white card. I then made a frame by using
 the Sue Wilsons Grand Square die set. On which I stamped
on to two of the corner's with a stamp from my stash.
I added it to my card with foam pads.

I then cut the Decorative Bell out of white card which I
covered in glitter. I added some red gems for the berries.
I added it to the centre of my frame.

Next I cut the Festive floral border which I cut in half and I added
half to two of the corner's. I coloured the poinsettia in red.
To finish with I added some gems to the corners.

Here comes Santa Sweet Dixie Sample







Good morning all friend's follower's and visitor's I hope
you are all well this morning.

Today's Sample is made by using the Here Come's Santa die set.

I started with a A5 landscape card which I added a mat out of papers from my stash.
I then cut my scene out of white card. 
Before adding it to my card I added some light's to the back of the village.
I used foam pads to adding it to my card.
I then cut the moon out of gold card which I added to the sky.
I then added Santa so that he is flying in front of the moon.
To finish off with I added gems to the corner's.

Sweet Dixie Holly Border and corner Sample








Good Afternoon friends followers and visitor's I hope you are 
all well on this Sunday Afternoon.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you all
that have sent me well wishes while I have been ill.
It is so nice to be back after a month of not doing anything.

Today's card is a sample that I have made for Sue Dixie of Sweet Dixie Designs.

For this card I have used the Sweet Dixie Dies;
Holly Border and corner die set
And the Large snowflake die.

I started with a 8"x 8" cream card. I mat and layered it in gold and cream.
I added two gold corners to opposite corners.
Next I cut a smaller mat out of cream card which I added
the border which I cut in gold mirri card to the top and bottom.
I added this to the centre of my card with foam pads.
I also added two corners to the opposite corners.

I then cut the Large snowflake out of gold mirri card which
I added to the centre of my topper..
I then added a bow and some gems to finish.

You Light Up My Christmas








Good morning friend's follower's and visitor's I hope you are all
well this morning.
I would just like to apologise for not commenting on your cards
as my internet as been playing up they promise me that it should be
back to normal some time today.

For this card I have used the Sue Wilson's Grand Square double pierced edge dies
And The Happy Birthday and the festive tree die set's all
by Sue Wilson.
And the Tattered Lace Melded Bauble garland die set.
And some lights for the frame.

I started with a 8"x 8" white card which I then cut a frame by using the
grand squares dies.
Next I cut out the baubles and the frame from the bauble set
I then added them to the frame that i'd just cut.
Next on the back of my frame I added the light's all around it.
I then added foam tape to the frame to add it to my card.
I glued the battery pack to the inside of the card.

Next I cut the sentiment out of white and I added it to the
 inside of the frame.
 I then cut the tree out of white on which I added to the bottom corner.

To finish off with I added some pearls to the corner's.

Snowman







Good morning all I hope you are all well today even though it's cold
and damp.

Today's card I have used the Festive wishes frame die and stamp set,
And the Poinsettia die set.
And the Snowman stamp all from Sweet Dixie Designs.

This was my first attempt at stamping and colouring so I coloured it with my
Alcohol pens. 

I started with a 9"x 61/2" mint card which I matted with pink card
I wrapped a piece of mint ribbon around it before at stuck it down.

I then cut out my frame out of mint card  which I added to the
centre of my card. I then added mt image to the centre
of my frame.
I then cut out the poinsettia's out of white and pink card.
I added these to the top corner of my card.
I tied a very large bow out of mint ribbon which I added to the
side of my frame. I added a small poinsettia to the centre of my bow.

To finish off with I added some gems to the corners of the card.

Here Comes Santa







Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning and if
not I send you some crafty hugs.

For today's card I have used one of the new Christmas dies
by Sweet Dixie Designs.

I started with a 9"x 61/2" cream card.
I cut a mat out of beige card which I cut a moon into it with a small
nesting die up in the top corner.
I then cut out the village scene out of black card I then added it
to the centre of my card.

I then made a shaker by using the Santa die also from Sweet Dixie
into the shaker.
I then added it to the bottom left corner.
I used the 2015 poinsettia die from Sweet Dixie which I made from

Next I cut the Santa and Reindeer's from the village scene die set
out of black card and I added it so that they are
fling in front of the moon.

To finish off with I added some gems on the the sky to look like
stars.
