Ooh La la challenge 212 Girlie





Good morning all how are we all doing this morning.
Today see's the start of another challenge at Ooh la la
and It is my turn to choose the theme and as I like to do
Girlie cards that's where my idea came from.

I have used a 8" white square card and I mat and layered
it with paper's from the cd.
I wrapped a piece of black ribbon that my lovely friend Jen
sent me.
Next I printed off my image and I mat and layered it in
black and white card.
I added this to the side of my lace.

To finish off the card I added some daisy's to the bottom
corner and then three on to the lace.

Candy Cane







Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning.
what are you all up to today anything exciting.

For today's card I have used the Sweet Dixie die's
Candy Cane and the Bow and Holly Frame and the Poinsettia die set.
I Have also used Sweet Dixie vintage fantasy embossing powder's.
I have also used Sue Wilson's stars embossing folder.

I started off with a 8" square white card which I cut
two mats and with the top one I embossed it with the
star embossing folder.

Next I cut out my frame with the Bow and Holly frame die.
I added this to the centre of my card with foam tape.

I then covered a piece of card big enough to cut out the
candy cane with double sided sticky sheet.
I then cut out my candy cane I then peeled the backing off
and I sprinkled pink embossing powder on it and then some
green so that it is all covered.
I then embossed it with my heat gun.
It's just something different from glitter.
I then added it to the centre of my frame.

Next I did the same again for the poinsettia's which I add
to the top and bottom corner's.
I then added some gems to the centre of the flower's and
then to the corner's of my card.

Christmas Bauble






Good morning all how are we all this morning.
Are you all enjoying the lovely weather we are having.
I just want to let you know I may go missing for a few day's
as my Dad is not well so i'm going to be spending more time
with him.

For this card I have used a crafter's companion Christmas Bauble die.
And the embossing folder is by Sue Wilson falling snow.
And the corners are also by Sue and that is called corner's,
Border's snowflake die set.

I started with a 7"x 7" white card base which I cut a white mat
and then a stripped paper and then a smaller white one.
One the smallest one I embossed it with the falling snow folder.
I added this to my card with foam tape.

Next I cut four corners from the stripped paper.
I then cut out my bauble die out of silver mirri card.
I added this to the centre of my card.

To finish with I tied a large blue bow which I added to
the top of my bauble.
I then added a very large gem to the centre of my bow.

Snowglobe







Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning.
what are you all up today it looks like we are in for another
lovely day.

I Have another Christmas card for you today.
And I have used the Sue Wilson's snowglobe die and the snowman
insert.
The border is from Sue Wilson's snowflake border corner dies set.
I have also used the creative expressions gilding polish in red.
and the cosmic shimmers sparkly icicles glitter.
And the card base is 93/4"x 61/2"

I started with my base card that I cut three mats and on the
first mat I went around the edges with the gliding polish.
I then added my mats to the card base.

Next I cut out two of the border's which I added down the
sides of my card.
Next I cut out my snow globe in white card and I added this
to the centre of my card.
I then covered a piece of white card with the red gliding polish.
I then cut out my snowman insert which I added to the inside
of the snow globe.

Next I added some of the icicle glitter to the snow globe
and to the border's
I then cut out my sentiment that I added to the top of my card.

To finish off with I tied a large deep red bow that I added to
the bottom of the card.

Partridge in a pear tree



Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning
I have another Christmas card for you today.
It is by using the Sweet Dixie Partridge in a pear tree die.

I started of with a white base card and I cut a smaller mat
that I edges with creative expressions gold gilding wax.
I then cut a smaller mat which I embossed with Sue Wilson's
snowflake embossing folder.

Next I cut a piece of card big enough for the tree to be cut out of
which I covered with the gilding wax.
I then cut out my tree. I then cut a mat for the tree to sit on.
I then cut a larger mat that I edged with the wax
by using the wax all the colours match.
I then added my topper to the lefthand side of my card.

Next I cut out my sentiment out of a piece of card that had
gilding wax on.
I added this to the side of my topper.

To finish off with I added some gems to the corners
of my card.

Shooting Star





Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning.

The big bow's are back  I've missed them lol.
For this card I have used the
Sweet Dixie Shooting Star die from the summer collection.
And the Spellbinder's Jewelled Frame die set.
And the Creative expressions cloud blending inks.

I started off with a 71/2"x 71/2" white card that I cut 2
smaller mat's for it. And then I cut a smaller one out of a
fine striped blue and silver paper.
I then covered a piece od white card with the blue cloud
bending inks as I didn't have the right shade of blue card I
love these inks.
With this piece of card I cut out the Jewelled frame
which I then added to the side of my card.

Next I covered a piece of white card with doublesided
sticky sheet. I then used this to cut out my shooting star die.
I then peeled off the backing paper and I then covered my star
in glitter.
I then added it to the centre of my frame.

To finish of with I used the blending ink to die my white
ribbon the same shade as the frame.
I then tied a very large bow which I added down the side
of my card.

Christmas Tree Greeting





Good morning all how are we all this morning
did you all have a good weekend.

Today's card I have used the Sue Wilson's Christmas Tree Greeting die
And the Creative expressions new gilding wax's.
and the Sue Wilson's snow flake embossing folder.

I started off with a 8"x8" white card which I cut two
smaller mat's on the first mat I went around the edge with
the gilding wax so that all my colours match.
On the smallest mat I embossed it with the snowflake embossing folder.
I added these to my card.

Next I covered a piece of white card with the gilding wax
 big enough for the tree to be cut out of.
I then cut a white mat for the tree to sit on. I then cut a
larger mat which I went around the edges with the gilding wax.
I then added these to the centre of my card.

To finish off with I added some strips of gems down the sides
of my topper.
I then stamped my sentiment to the top of my tree.

Lattice Frame






Good morning all how are you all doing this morning.
Looks like we are in for another lovely day.
What are you all up to today anything exciting.
I'm going to have a relaxing day by having a sit in the garden
and then some crafting.

Today's card I have used the Sweet Dixie Lattice Frame die
which I have made look like a medallion.

I started with a 7"x 7" white card which I cut a smaller mat
that I wrapped a piece of teal ribbon around the sides
to make a frame.

I then cut out both of the dies in the set twice the larger one in teal
and the smaller one in white.
I took the two teal ones and off set them to make a medallion.
I added it to the centre of my card.
I then cut two of the smaller on out of white card.
I then off set this one too and I added this to the centre of
the teal one.

To finish with I added some strips of gems in between the ribbon.

Man in the moon





Good morning all I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
I had a lovely day yesterday at the seaside it was really hot
but so busy.
I came home and slept for two hours.

For today's card I have used another of sweet Dixie dies
and this one is called the moon.

I started off with a 8"x 8" white card that I cut a white mat
for it and them I cut a smaller mat out of some pale blue
patterned paper.
Before I added the blue mat I wrapped a piece of white ribbon
around the side. I then glued the mat down.

I then cut a smaller mat out of silver card and the a smaller one
out of white card.
I added this to the side of my ribbon.

I then cut out my moon out of the same blue paper as
the background.
I added this to the centre of my topper.
I them added a strip of Gems to the top and bottom of
the topper.
I them added Gems on to the stars on the moon.
I then added Gems to the top corners.

To finish with I tied a large white bow which I added t the
top of my ribbon.
I then pearl and gem topper to the centre of my bow.

Shooting Star






Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning
I'm off to the coast today seeing as it's going to be a nice day
Just me and George and our little dog Rosie
I thick that we both need a break.
And we are going to give the new car a good run.

I would just like to thank Sue Dix of Sweet Dixie Die
for choosing me for her Design Team I'm so looking forward
to being on the team.

For today's card I have used the New Summer Die collection
and this one is called the Shooting star.

I started with a 8"x 8" white card which I cut a mat out of 
white card.
And then a mat out of white and silver paper.
I added them to my card with foam tape.
Next I wrapped a piece of white lace around the side 
of my top mat my wonderful
friend Jen Bradley sent me this lace thank you Jen.

I then cut a mat out of silver and then a white one which
I added to the side of the card.
I then cut out my shooting star out of a mat silver card.
I added it to the top of my mat.
I then added some gems to the stars and to the corners of the mat.
I then added a strip of Gems across the bottom of the mat.

To finish off with I added some gems to the edge of the lace.

Snowman snowglobe








Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning I'm in a
really good mood today as I am finally getting my new car.
It as been on order now five month's and It's finally here.

For today's card I have done another white on 
white Christmas card which I love with a touch of glitter.

I have used the new Christmas Snow globe by Sue wilson.
And the Happy Christmas die.
I have also used last years Snowflake border by Sue
And if you can find it I have added the tiniest bow I have ever used Lol.

I started with a 9"x 61/2" white card which I mat and layered twice
with white card.
I then cut two of the border dies which I added down both side's.
I then cut out my sentiment and I added it to the centre top
of my card.

Next I cut my snow globe out in white and then I also cut out
the centre die which is the snowman. 
I covered the back centre with glue which I then added my snowman
to it and the i covered it in glitter.
I added this to the centre bottom of my card.
I then tied a really tiny bow which I added to the snow globe.

To finish off with I  made a Poinsettia out of white vellum
and then I sprayed it with spray glue and I dipped it into glitter.

Christmas Wreath






Good morning all how are you all doing this sunday morning
it looks like we are in for another lovely day here.

For today's card I have used the Sweet Dixie Dies and they are
The Snowflake flurry and the Christmas Wreath
and then the frame is the Embroidery border frame. 

I started with a 8"x 8" white card which I mat and layered 
in green, Red and white card.
I then cut out my snowflake flurry out of silver mirri card.
I added these to the top and bottom of my card.
Next I cut my frame which I added to the centre of my card.

I then cut out my wreath out of green card and I also cut 
the star out silver mirri.
I added this to the centre of my frame.

T'o finish off with I added gems to the corners.
