Full Steam Ahead

Good morning friends follower's and visitor's I hope you
are all well on this Saturday Morning and are ready for a
lovely weekend apart from the weather.

Todays card Is a little different for me as It is a male card
which I struggle to do theres just something about them that
I don't like doing.
But this one I were really happy with as I have used my
New Steam Train die  from Sue Dix of Sweet Dixie Dies.

This one was a really easy card as I just cant sit for long at the minute
as I'm still stiff from my accident.
I started with a 7"x7" white scalloped card which I cut mats
out of cream and brown card. I layered them up.
Next I cut my train out of Gold mirri card. And to make the mat for the
train I drew around the outside of the die on to cream card.
I cut it out and mounted my train on to it.

I used foam tape to added it to the card.
Next I cut my sentiment out of brown card and I added this
to the top corner.

To finish the card off I added pearls to the corners.

That's all for today and I thank you all for your
continued support.

Many Thanks

Best Wises

Good morning all I hope you are all well todays post is
just a quick one as I cant sit long at the pc as I had a car accident
last night and I'm now feeling it.
Something ran out in front of me and I swerved to miss it
and I hit the bollards and I  got a flat tyre which I had to sit
nearly two hours for the RAC come and It were freezing.

But I am ok just a bit stiff cards not as well as me though.
it as damage the arm that the wheels fit on.

Anyway back to todays card I have used the Sweet Dixie
floral circle die and the best wishes die from them.

That's all for today and I thank you for all your
support.

on to my peach frame.

Hobby House

Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning are you
all waiting for the storm to hit us I just hope its not going to be as bad
as they are saying. So I think that this will be a good time for
us to lock the doors heating on and craft so we will all stay safe.
What do you think of that idea?

Todays card I have used a Hobby house topper that I found while having
a clean up of my craft room.

I started with a 8"x8" white scalloped card. I then covered it with
a Mat out of brown card.
I then cut a smaller mat out of floral card which I wrapped a piece
ribbon around the centre.
Next I cut a strip of damask card and I stuck a piece of lace down
both sides of it.
I added this down the side of my card.
I cut a mat out of brown card for my topper to sit on. I added this
to the centre.
I then tied a bow and I added this to the side of the topper.

Next I cut some flowers out of the scraps of card that I have used for the card.
I added these to the bottom corner. I have used the
Sweet Dixie Stylish Daisy die for these.

To finish with I added some gems to the centre of the flowers and on the topper.

styalised Daisy's

Good morning all friends follower's and visitor's I hope you
are all well this morning.

Today's card is made by using the Sweet Dixie Dies I am really
enjoying these dies as they are a really good size if you like
making larger cards.

I started with a 8"x8" white scalloped card which I cut a mat
out of a lovely mint card.
Next I cut a white mat which firstly I cut a aperture in the centre
and white it were still in the die I ran it through a embossing folder.
I then added this to my card.

Next I cut a white round mat just a bit small than the aperture.
I used foam tape to add this to my card.

Next I cut my sentiment out and it is also a Sweet Dixie Die
It is about 41/2 in across so its a large die.
I added this to the centre of my aperture.

With the mint card I cut a butterfly that is from first edition dies.
I added this to the top corner.

I then cut several of the sweet Dixie Stylised Daisy dies in
mint and white card.
I shaped the flowers and I layered them up in Alternate colours
same with the leafs.
I arranged them around the bottom corner of my card.
I added gems to the centre of the flowers.
I the added some swirls of crystals to the edges of the flower's.

To finish off the card I added some gems to the butterfly and to
the sentiment.

That's all for today and I thank you all for your continued
support while George is unwell.

Many Thanks

Me with My Kittens

Good morning my friends I'm now fed up of this cold weather
and by is it cold. It ever warmed up at all yesterday and to make it worse
it was really foggy with it.
So today I'm in my craft room to have a little clean up and
then get on with my DT work.

Today's card I have used the New CD from whoopsidaisy and it
is called Cute and sassy.
I have to say it as some wonderful little girls on there some thing
for every Occasion.

I started off by printing off my image and this time I used
just the outline so I could colour it myself I know I'm not a great
colourer but I'm getting there.
I then cut it out with Sweet Dixie Dotted Doily Circle frame.
I inked it while still in the die with a beige ink.

I added my backing papers to a 7"x7" white scalloped card.
On the second mat I cut a border across the bottom with the
Sue Wilson Gemini Delphinus border die. Then on the top mat
I wrapped a piece of beige ribbon around the bottom.
Then I added my topper to the centre of my top mat. I
used foam tape for this.

I then tied a large bow out of two different types of ribbon
I added this to the bottom corner of my card.

I then stamped and embossed the Orange blossom flowers
with a blue embossing powder. I then shaped all the petals
and I then inked the petals with blue ink.
I then added two flower to the top corner. To finish off with
I added some gem to the flower's and to the corners of the top mat.

That's all for today and thank you for all your support

Dancing Shoe

Good morning all I hope you are all well on this cold morning
and It is cold here I had to pick my son up from work
at 3am and my it was -3% but at least its not snowing.

For todays card I have used the Heartfelt creations All Glammed Up
Stamp and dies and paper set. and to colour the shoe I have used
creative expressions cloud blending inks which if you look close
to the shoe it looks like it is suede.

I started off with a 8"x8" white scalloped card and I cut a
mat out of the piano paper from the pack.
And I wrapped a piece of pink ribbon around the centre before
I added it to my card.

I then stamped and embossed the shoe with platinum embossing
powder. I then inked the shoe with the pick blending inks.
And I were really pleased with the way it turned out.
I coloured the leaves and the flowers in with Be creative alcohol pens.
I added the shoe to the card with foam pads.

I then stamped and embossed the apple blossom flower
by Sue Wilson and I cut them out with the matching dies.
I then inked them with the same blending ink.  I then added three
of them to the shoe. and I put pearls to the centre of them
you can still see the glue but when its dry it will be clear.

I then cut the sentiment with the Sweet Dixie  leafs and swirls die.
I cut I twice one in white and one in silver which I off set.
I am loving the Sweet Dixie dies I got quite a few for
Christmas and they are a good size and not a bad price either.
I added this to the top corner and I then added a flower to
two of the corners.

To finish off with added some pearls and a small bow on to the
back of the shoe.

That's all for today and thank you for taking the time to
stop by and comment on my cards I do really appreciate them.
