Sweet Dixie Relaunch

Morning all how are we all doing this morning

I hope you are all well.

Today's card Is my last sample for this week and it is the relaunch

of the Fairy and Butterflies die set.

I started with a 8"x 8" card which I covered in a cream patterned paper

1. I then cut a smaller mat out of cream card.
2. Next I cut the decorative circle die from sweet dixie out

of the same paper as the background. I cut the fairy out of gold

mirri card  twice so that I could have her some more wings.

I added her to the centre of the circle. I cut the butterflies out

of gold mirri and I added them to the top corners.

I then added some flower's to the bottom corner.

Then I tied a large bow out of cream ribbon I added this

 to the bottom corner.

I added a butterfly to the centre of the bow.

Twisted Pop out

Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning

I've got the heating on fun and I'm still freezing But I think

it could have something to do with being up since 3am.

Today's card Is a sample for Sweet dixie designs it is for the 

relaunch of the fairy and butterflies die set.

I started by making my card base on the scanncut it is a twisted pop out.

I cut several layers of the front. I then cut out the fairy out

of silver mirri card which I added to the centre of the front.

next I added the butterflies around the front.

For the inside I cut the lattice work on the scan n cut out

of silver mirri card.  Then I cut the Fairy and butterflies out

of white card.

It's just a shame that you cant see it work.

Ooh La La Challenge #222 Thank you

Good morning again here is my second card of the day

It's the Ooh La La challenge # 222 and the theme is

THANK YOU.

I started with a 8"x *2 white card that I covered with papers from the cd.

Next I cut a circle out of a different paper from the set.

I added it top the top of my card.

Next I cut a strip of patterned paper and I mounted it on to white card

I added it across the bottom of my card.

I then printed off my topper and I mounted it on the white card

which I added to the centre of my card.

I then tied a large bow out of pink ribbon which I added

to the side of my topper.

To finish off with I added some gems to all the corners.

I added gem flower to the centre of the bow.

Second Sweet Dixie Sample

Good morning all are you all ready for another week it 

is so cold here so keep warm.

Today's card is another wedding sample from Sweet Dixie designs.

I have used the Bride and Groom and the Mr and Mrs dies.

The card is a 8"x 8" which I covered with some beautiful

cream papers. I then cut a mat out of cream card which I embossed.

With the same patterned paper I cut a heart which

I added to the centre of the card. Next I cut the bride and groom out

of a gold card. I added it to the centre of the heart.

I then cut the Mr&Mrs out of the gold card I added this to the top 

corner.

I then added pearls to the brides headdress.

I then tied a large bow out of satin ribbon I added this to the 

side of my topper.

To finish with I added some flower's to the centre of the bow.

Sweet Dixie Wedding Sample

Good morning all I hope you are all well on this cold

Sunday morning What are you all up to today anything good.

Todays card is a Sample for Sweet Dixies New Wedding collection.

For this card I have used the 

Wedding Arch And the Bride and Groom dies.

The card is a 8"x 8" and I covered it with a peach patterned paper

And then I embossed a smaller piece of white card which I

added to the centre if y card.

I cut the arch out of silver mirri I added it to the centre of the mat.

Next I cut the bride and groom out of white card.

I added it the the front of the arch.

To finish off with I added some gems and some roses.

Round Roses

Good morning all I hope you are all well Ive done well this week

I've done well I've blogged for five days but I'm still so tired.

Any way today's card is another one I made on the scan n cut as

well as dies.

I started off by making my base card with the scan n cut.

I them added some large roses to the centre of the card.

I then cut the leafs out of pink card with a die sorry I cant remember what

the die is called.

I added these to the flower's.

Next I cut three butterflies with a die and I added these around the

outer edge of my card.

To finish with I cut out my sentiment with the scanncut

which I added t the bottom of the card.

That's all fr today and stay warm on this freezing day

Rose Open Book

Good morning all How are you all this morning I hope you

are all well.

I would just like to welcome my newest follower Kelly

And thank you for the lovely comments you have left me

Today's card I have made a open book by using my scan n cut

and some dies.

I started off by cutting all my pages on white card.

I then inked around them with spun sugar ink pad. I then 

made the book up by adding foam pads under each page

to give it some depth.

I added some gems to all corner's I also added some roses to the corner

of the smallest page. 

I then die cut my sentiment which I added to the small page.

Next I cut the large flower's out of pink card on the scanncut.

I made them up and added them to the bottom corner.

I then die cut the leafs and added them to the flower's.

To finish with I added a ribbon and bow to the top corner.

Pink flowers

Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning

I'm doing well three posts on the go.

Today's card is a 8"x 8" card this I mat and layered in white.

I then cut the next mat with my scanncut.

I added it to my card and then I cut another mat which I folded back

on it's self to make a triangle I added this to my card with foam pads.

Next I cut the flower's out with the scan n cut I made them up and I

added them across the centre.

I then tied a large white bow and I added it under the flowers

 I finished it of with gem flower to the centre.

To finish the card off I added some gems.

New Home

 

Good morning all I hope you are all well this morning.

You can see that I have been playing with my scan n cut for the

last few day's cos I have had help from my husband as I still

get so tired and he as been putting the card on my mat and cleaning the mats

he's been a great help.

This card is a 7"x 7" landscape card which I cut a base card.

I cut out two layers os swirls in blue and white.

 which I added to the center of my card.

I then cut a unicorn out of white card which I added to the bottom

corner looking at it now I wish I had made a blue mat for it

as it gets a little lost in the background.

I then cut a fairy out of blue and white and I added this to

the opposite bottom corner.

I cut two butterflies one out of white and one blue I added these

to the top corner.

To finish off with I added some gems and pearls.

On Your Birthday

Good morning and a Happy New Year I know it's late

but I have been unwell for the last two months so I've not

been able to do any crafting but I'm hoping that I'm going

to be on the mend soon.

I would like to thank everyone that as sent me well wishes

I did really appreciate them.

I was a really quick card to make it is a 6"x 6" card base

I firstly cut  a pink mat and then I cut five more layers

with the cut outs in.

I layered them up with glue gel to give them depth.

Next i cut out the oval for the centre I added this with foam pads.

Next I cut out the flowers and the sentiment out of pink.

I made the flowers up and added them ti the bottom corner 

and the sentiment to the top corner.

Thats all for today and it is so nice to be back

Glitter Angel

Good morning friend's follower's and visitor's

How are you all ding this morning.

Today see's the last Christmas card of 2016.

I started of with a 8"x 8" white card I which mat and layered

in Silver Glitter card and white card.

Next I cut a glitter mat at 6.5"x 6.5" and a white mat which

I added to the centre of my card.

Next I cut the Couture festive flourish frame background out of glitter card.

I then added it the to the centre of my card.

I then cut the flourish frame out of white card and I added

it to the centre of my background die cut.

Next I cut the Sweet Dixie Angle out of silver glitter card which

I added to the centre of the frame.

To finish off with I added gems to all corners.

Last Sweet Dixie Sample

Good morning all how are you all doing this morning I

hope you are all well.

What are you all up to today I think I'm going to try and

put the Christmas tree up if I feel fit enough.

This is my last Christmas Sample of Sweet Dixie Designs.

I started with a 8"x 8" white card which I covered with a piece of decorative

paper.

I then cut a smaller mat which I mat and layered with silver mirri card.

I cut a smaller piece of white card which I inked with

cosmic shimmer bending inks.

I then embossed it with a sue wilsons embossing folder which I 

sanded back so the white came through.

I added this to the right hand side of my card.

Next I cut the Ornamental Christmas tree in white I then cut it in half

I then added to each side of the front panel.

I then cut the Reindeer from the Reindeer and Sleigh die set.

I added this to the centre of the trees.

Next I added a string of pearls across the bottom of this panel

 and on to the trees. 

I them cut the large Merry Christmas die which I added 

to the top of the panel.

Next I cut a strip of mirri card to fit down the left side on which I

added a white panel.

I then wrapped a piece of blue and white ribbon around it before

I added it to my card with foam pads.

To finish off with I tied a large bow out of blue and

white ribbon I used a hot glue gun to added it to my card.

I then added a large gem to the centre of the bow.

Sweet Dixie Sample Large Snowflake

Good morning all how are you all doing on this cold morning.

I've up hours just couldn't sleep so I thought I would finish

this card off.

For this card I have used the 

Sweet Dixie Large snowflake and the Holly corner's and border die set

and the Merry Christmas die.

I started off with a small DL card in cream and then I cut

a piece of patterned cream paper from my stash which I

cut at a angle.

I added this to the to half of my card. 

Next I cut the border from the holly corners and border die set

out of silver mirri card.

I added this to the edge of my paper. I then added a string of gems

across the edge of my border.

I then cut the large snowflake out of silver mirri card which

I added to the top half of my card.

I then cut the large merry Christmas die which I added to the bottom

half of the card.

I finished of by adding gems to the corner's.

Sweet Dixie Cute Owl Sample

Good morning all how are you all this morning have you opened

your advent calender's as it's the 1st December I just don't

know where the time as gone. And with me being poorly

over the last month I've not done any Christmas shopping

so I think it's about time I got on with it.

For this card I have used the Sweet Dixie Christmas 2016 die sets.

Cute Owl and stocking die and

the Festive floral frame die set and the

Holly corner's and border die set.

I started off with a white 8"x 8" card base that 

I mat and layered with green glitter card. I then cut another

 mat out of snowflake paper from my stash.

I then cut four corner's from the Holly corner's and 

border die set out of green glitter card I added these to all four corner's.

Next I cut the Festive floral frame out of white card. I added it to the centre 

of my card by using foam pads.

Next I cut out the Cute Owl and Stocking in silver mirri card.

I added this to the centre of the frame.

To finish with I added gems and a bow.
